Hi, I’m Melissa, the owner of Honey Acre Blooms, LLC.

This little flower farm began as a dream during a cold West Michigan winter in 2023. I’ve always had an entrepreneurial spirit and a love for growing things—mostly vegetables—but I was ready for a new challenge. Growing flowers felt like something fun to try… and while I quickly learned it takes a lot of hard work, it’s been more rewarding and fun than I ever could have imagined.

Honey Acre Blooms officially came to life in 2024, rooted in the back portion of our two-acre property—land that holds special meaning to me. Years ago, my great-grandfather kept honeybees here, and his apiary was called Honey Acres. Naming my flower farm after his legacy felt like the perfect way to honor those roots.

Now a few seasons in, I’ve learned so much and continue to grow right alongside my flowers. I’m incredibly grateful for each person who chooses to support local and bring home one of my bouquets (or gift one to someone else)! Thank you!
